Forecasting the uncertain: A strategic engine

Kineo is working with a mid-sized company holding a large share of the German funeral homes.

The project evolves around forecasting regional (NUTS3) demand for funeral services on a per daily basis, combining internal CRM records with external data on e.g. corona infection rates, weather, demography, etc.

To achieve reliable estimates under conditions of high uncertainty, Kineo employs modern techniques in the area of LSTM based probabilistic time series methods.
